My name is Guillaume MOULIN. I will have 30 years old in the coming days. I’m married and l live in Lyon, France.
After 5 years as Microsoft consultant & architect (especially SharePoint), I integrated Volvo IT in 2011 as IT Software Architect in charge of TeamPlace. TeamPlace is a solution provided by Volvo IT to facilitate information sharing, document management and collaboration for more than 60.000 users and with more than 18TB of data. I updated the service architecture to be able to sell it to external customers – one solution for all the customers, Volvo included. I managed the migration from MOSS 2007 to SP2010 for Volvo – executed during a weekend. I also took part into the maintenance and Third Level Support.
Since November 2013, I’m appointed as Infrastructure Architecture Manager for the SharePoint track. I am globally responsible with platform bundled technical components delivered to services. I have the ownership of the SharePoint infrastructure architecture for Volvo Group but also external customers. I promote synergies and best practices (search, publishing, collaboration, project, BI, applications development). My mission is to ensure the overall architecture consistency of the service ; working in close collaboration with Service Managers, product responsibles and subject matter experts, as well as being involved in concept studies, market and technology trend analysis, creating roadmaps for SharePoint, leading infrastructure architecture in service development and service change activities.
In this blog, I’ll share with you about SharePoint 2013 and Office 365, but also ASP.NET MVC, Azure, Windows Phone or Windows 8…
I hope you will enjoy this blog…
